Order Processing
Orders are generally prepared and shipped within 7 business days after payment confirmation.
For made-to-order items, custom requests, or special orders, shipping schedules may vary. In such cases, we will contact you individually regarding production and delivery times.
If payment is made via bank transfer, your order will be shipped after payment has been confirmed.
Please note that shipping times may be affected by holidays, weather conditions, customs clearance procedures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Domestic Shipping (Japan)

Orders within Japan are shipped via Yamato Transport or Japan Post.

International Shipping
SHIYA ships worldwide from Kyoto, Japan.
International orders are shipped via Japan Post international services, including International ePacket and EMS depending on the size, weight, and destination of the order.

Large, fragile, or oversized items may require EMS shipping regardless of the selected shipping option.
Customs Duties and Import Taxes
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, VAT, handling fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are not included in the product price or shipping fee and are the responsibility of the customer.
SHIYA is unable to estimate or collect these fees in advance, as customs regulations vary by country.
If customs charges are refused by the recipient and the package is returned to Japan, original shipping fees, return shipping fees, customs handling fees, and any related costs may be deducted from any refund.
Delivery Delays
International shipments may occasionally experience delays due to customs inspections, public holidays, severe weather, transportation disruptions, or local postal service conditions.
SHIYA cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs authorities or shipping carriers after dispatch.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products may be unavailable for international shipping due to customs regulations or carrier restrictions in specific countries.
If an order cannot be shipped to your destination, we will contact you promptly to discuss alternatives or issue a refund if necessary.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs of both the package and the contents.
While we will assist wherever possible, SHIYA cannot guarantee compensation for delays, customs issues, or losses occurring after the package has been transferred to the shipping carrier.
